Whale Entanglement Discussion
The “World of Haystack Rock” speaker series will take a look at impacts to cetaceans with a talk on “Insights into large whale entanglements in the Pacific Northwest from research on populations, responses, and reports” on Wednesday, March 10, at 7 p.m. The virtual presentation is free and open to all.
The speaker will be Kiirsten Flynn, a biologist and whale entanglement specialist with the Cascadia Research Collective, based in Olympia, Washington, which conducts extensive research projects on marine mammals.
